Taylored Expressions: Simple Strips Storage for Simple & Mini Strips

 In yesterday's post, I mentioned that Taylored Expressions sells a special storage box to hold the individual sentiment strips made with their Simple Strips and Mini Strips stamps and dies.

The company says that they had requests from customers to offer some way to store all of those individual strips. They sell similar boxes, but this one includes 2 storage pieces to hold the strips in place, so it's easy to see and read the strips.

I like this! It's simple and affordable (currently $8 in their shop).

There are 2 clear plastic inserts in the clear storage box. Each one has individual slots for each sentiment, and they have enough depth to place quite a few strips in each section! In this photo, I had 2 cardstock strips in each section.

The 2 carrier pieces stack, and both fit easily in the storage box (don't overstuff!). This is a view from the side with the box closed (it has easy latches on one side, and matches the design of their other storage boxes).

The only challenge is thinking of ways to organize your strips: each sentiment in a different slot makes sense, but would you want to mix the shapes (regular, asymmetrical, flags, etc.)? Or mix the colors? I think I could live with that!

The company also offers stickers to put on the side of a box, labeling the stamp set from which those sentiments came. I didn't purchase those--my collection is still pretty small.

Once the box is closed, you could transport the sentiments to a crop or retreat. You could take them anywhere you might craft away from home. Do you make cards for coworkers? If so, you might need a ready stash of sentiments to place on a card when you suddenly discover it's somebody's birthday.

I'm glad I got it--much easier than trying to track each sentiment in its own little bag, which I likely would have done otherwise.
